Well sorta. Read any good books lately? Any you want under the tree this year?
I know I’m getting the Eddie Guerrero autobiography which I’ve been wanting to read since it came out last year. Fiction wise, the new PC Cast, and a bunch more got added to my list at ehq’s open house yesterday.
Readingwise, I’m almost done SECRET SOCIETY GIRL by Diana Peterfreund (I’m hoping I spelled that right) which I liked. College girl gets tapped by a secret society that’s been all male for years. Bit of chaos. I thought it was a good read :o) Halfway through PLAYING WITH FIRE by Gena Showalter, took awhile to get into the heroine’s voice (its first person) but now its picking up steam. Plus I’m reading the arc of HELL’S BELLES – or at least a chap and a half in. Great so far!

  1. I did buy my sister three books for Christmas. She likes the Scottish historical romances – medieval(sp?) which I don’t read, so it’s pretty much hit and miss. I think I messed up on one – didn’t notice it was 1833, but she’ll get over it. I do know I scored with the new Hannah Howell Highland book.

Oh, btw Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg. Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker got away. Just thought I’d share.

  2. I recently read Relentless by Jo Leigh. So good… Now I’m reading some Christmas anthologies – Holiday in the Heart and Christmas Wishes. Secret Society Girl is in my TBR pile.

  3. Oh, I’m so behind on my reading. Right now I have Bourne Legacy. I loved Bourne movies, especially Matt Damon in it, that’s why I chose that book.

  4. ha ha, thanks Bailey :o) Now I’ll have that stuck in my head all night. :o) Hope your sister enjoys the books! I think the only scottish historicals I’ve read are Jude Deveraux’s.

Relentless is on my pile, next one up actually with Release right behind it. Hoping to score some time this week to devour them :o) Love Jo’s books. How’s the Christmas anthologies? I’ve only read one, the one Jill was in last yr.

I love the bourne movies, watch them with my dad. Did you know I had NO clue they had books attached!
